HDD - My Computer

I've recentty purchased a new hdd for my pc. So I decided to buy the maxtor 6Y080L0 (80 gig). When I put it in my pc it doesnt show up in my computer. However everything looks normal: it shows up in the bios, it shows up in the device manager. Any help??/

I've also tried the Computer management. I've uploaded it.

You need to partition and format it.
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management
if you are using XP.
