Just got a Vooodoo5, Out with the FX 5900.

I just got this card, and I am totally amazed, I decided to take out my FX 5900 For good.

The card will now collect dust while I use the Voodoo5 in my main rig, May put the FX 5900 in my second Rig,

Why you ask? its awesome. Have you seen Voodoo5's Anti Aliasing Quality? I totally cant believe it, I load up Lewpy's Glide and use 4x AA and I can totally tell that the graphics are being be anti aliased,

at 640x480 with 32 Bit color, I'm IN gaming Heaven. Lets not forget glide compatibility. It's a huge must these days for gaming. I cant believe I ever used OpenGL or Direct3d, Glide is obviously superior,. I mean I can run great classics like Mortal Kombat 4, and Nin64 UHLE,, Oh Did I mention its faster in Glide Mode? My God its incredible. Why Play In Direct3d or OpenGL when you can have Glide? I think they should totally ressurect the Glide API and use it again.

You would not believe the Texture Quality on this card, I mean Anistropic Filtering? Who needs it, I can clearly see that mip Map Blending and stretching is obviously superior. Anistropic Filtering is an ATI and Nvidia things. Obviously us 3dfx owners have no need for it.

I was able to load up UT2003, and play @ 640x480 with 4x AA at about 20 FPS, Can you believe that? 20 FPS! Not to mention the best 16 bit color in the industry, If I lower it to be 16 bit color, I can get about a 10 FPS increase AND have superior color to any other card in the industry at 16 bit, Because of the 22 bit internal rendering.

God, I just cant proclaim enough How much this card Rocks. 3dfx For Life, Anything else is just plain fast! And I mean that!

I'm glad you finally see the light Chrisray! Who needs those crappy new Radeons and Geforces when you have an almighty Voodoo 5 and it's perfect AA!

Yup... it makes playing warcraft 3 funner than ever, Tho my friends were yellen at me for attacking the wrong units,

I tried to explain to them. I was mistaking them for an Anti Aliased Jagged Edges, Some people just dont understand the pain of getting maximum quality in gaming.

I want it! I just developed a technique to mod notebooks to use Voodoo chipsets instead of crappy Radeons. With this I'll have 3DFX Power on all my computers!

Voodoo 3/4/5's came in AGP and PCI versions. YOu could get either one, although the pci versions are recommended for dual video card setups.

*me looks at ChrisRay*

Note: A Voodoo 5 is best used with Windows 95, since it is Microsoft's best and stablest OS to date. It also boosts image quality.

This looks like ChrisRay's personal April fools' joke

Specially on this part:
