Sega CD and Sega Saturn Both do these with there lens, Usually its because the lens moves.

My Sega CD was never quiet... I had a newer model tho..

But sometimes it make really bad noises , and the music of the games doesnt play properly. I mean... the game starts then after some time making noises the music starts to play.

edit: I forgot to say that.. but it only happens after some time of play. like a hour and a half.. can it be a temperature problem?
