atttention check your local salvation army ASAP!!

i am pretty sure you seen signs near you in your town about the salvation army holding charitie sells.

well anyway i helped them with their program they said i could choose ANY computer they had.if i work for them the whole day.

i was like ok so i chose a gateway 2000 with win98 installed on it with no monitor.

now after she gave me the computer i put in the car so after that i went in the army to start working for them all i had to do was to sell the computers and parts.

here is where i was messed up i looked under the GIANT tarp in the gym. and you will never beleive what i seen they had around 50 towers dells'hp'compaqs'gateways'.

right beside all those towers were monitors''printers''scanners''keyboards''speakers and a crapload of software.
they had like a 30 win98 cds with keycodes.microsoft works''encarta''enclopedia and lots of games for the pc..

then i asked how much all this stuff she said 10 dollars per piece of hardware and software.

she then said this money goes to MEXICO to help for orphans and all that crap.

i was like HOLY SHYT!!! i called my brother he bought 3 towers 4 monitors and 1 win98 cd along with a supernes with 10 games.

to make this short i should have asked for another tower..for helping the church

BTW heres the specs on my new pc!!

amdk62 550mhz
7.9 gig hd
2.4 gig hd
trident blade 8mb vidcard
some cheap modem..but it works
64mb of ram
win98
40xcd reader UNKNOWN brand but it works fine

i am very happy with this free computer i got for doing practically NOTHING!!

computers and parts werent the only thing they had they sold regualr nintendos N64 old PSX's and clothes''and tvs and vcrs..real old vcrs..

this sale is held everysaturday in my town i am pretty sure its the same everywhere else!!

I've worked for a few local charities and found some sweet pieces of hardware (a Voodoo Banshee and a Aureal Vortex 3), I may have to do this more.
