good point, i should try bt again (did on 56K but wasn't too sucessful)
i'm still amazed the LAN worked.
a windows xp and an ME on a lan wich cost £20 (including network cards, i already had the modem). i've herd so many people who have failed to get LAN running, it just makes my effort seem even more impressive, now for some NON LAGGIE online gaming

if lan doesn't work most of the times its a configuration-related problem(firewalls... bad routing) or a nic drivers-related problem

ADSL rules. I thought it was gonna take days to catch up on all the anime I missed over the holiday, but I ended up getting all the new eps in one night.

Yes, us UK people are cursed with rather narrow broadband pipes. Having said that, Blueyonder now offers 2mbit cable in the UK but it's rather expensive.

Welcome to the next level little knipper.

Once you have tasted the power of high speed internet you never want to go back to 56k.

You wonder how you lived without high speed internet.

If you're an anime fan, BT and eMule are your best friends!
