processor question

there is a way to make belive a program that a cpu is another type? I have a amd 486 120 and I wanted to mask it as a pentium, because a program doesn't recognise it correctly. Is possible?

If it's looking for MMX, there might be some programs for that....
For SSE, none IIRC...

Tell me more I will try it!! The problem is that the program need a dx2 66 and it tells that a 486 120 is not enough...
