Unhappy umm... HELP! (gamepad driver issues)

Just came home for Christmas and found the long-lost gameport-usb adapter I needed to get my little brother's Interact HammerHead FX (SV-262A) gamepad to work under Windows XP... well, much to my horror, Interact doesn't exist anymore... and neither does the required driver! I've done some searching, and driver collection sites have the drivers for the newer models (SV-262E & F), but nothing for the model I have. I remember that on previous installations, the later model is incompatible with the earlier one (I can't use the SV-262E or F versions), and that there was no "real" windows XP driver (I remember the workaround to get the Win2k driver to work instead)... but nobody has the Win2K USB driver for the SV-262A model!

Please please PLEASE! If anybody here uses that gamepad, let me know where to find that driver (or post it/e-mail it/something).

Thanks...

Have you tried looking over at DriverGuide ?
If not, take a look there. It'll ask you for a name and a password. The name is "drivers" password is "all" w/out the quotes.

Yeah, driverguide had some drivers, but they don't work... I remember the version I used had the profiler in it and was around (roughly) 15-32 megs... theirs was 240k. It's disappointing to see them go... they made some of the absolute best game pads on the market .
