I'm more use to using a keyboard than using a gamepad when playing games.
When I play a fighting game with a friend, we find ourselves squeezed together on one keyboard. Is there a way to connect two keyboards to one PC or is there a gamepad with keypads? |

Re: Connecting two keyboards to a PC
well, what games are you playing? if it's like PSX emulation or something (for example) i recommend getting a controller....
however, maybe you want to try getting a USB keyboard and seeing what happens (so you have the PS/2 one AND your USB) |

Re: Connecting two keyboards to a PC
I have a wireless USB mouse of my own and then an old PS/2 one for my family (wouldnt want them to waste batteries :P). I can sit on the couch and make the mouse move while my sister it useing the PS/2 one......in other words, it works with mice.

Re: Connecting two keyboards to a PC
The only thing I can think of that would be close to that would be a KVM switch but it lets you use 1 keyboard on 2 (or more) computers which is opposite of what you are looking for. Try looking for a PS/2 splitter (make sure the genders are in the right order, 2 female ends for the keyboards and one male end to go into the comp) or you could try picking up a USB keyboard. I tried using a USB mouse and a serial mouse on my old comp and it worked perfectly as well as using that same USB mouse on a comp with a PS/2 mouse at the same time (school comps).

Re: Connecting two keyboards to a PC
well actually RZetlin I know exactly how you feel about fighting games and game pads. You need to be able to use more than your thumbs to press the buttons. I also prefer keyboard for those 6 button capcom fighters, and the 4 button neogeos. So...... here's my plan for you
Thank me later ![]() GET AN ARCADE STICK. Yes I know the X Arcade one is pricy but there are many other choices. You could get these and a PSX to USB converter: http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad/psx/p-twin.htm http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad/psx/p-proshock.htm http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad..._proslight.htm http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad...d/vf4stick.htm http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad...ard/fstick.htm PC version USB http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad/pc/pc_hstick.htm hope it helps ![]() BTW i sent you a PM about something....

Re: Connecting two keyboards to a PC
You could use a second USB keyboard, as already described, but both sets of keys will do the same, so you'd still have to have different key setups, and you could interfere with each other.
