ATI of course. I would take a "built by ATI" card over a "powered by ATI" card any day of the week. Most of them follow the ATI reference designs anyways.

Try and get an ATI card built by ATI but if a Sapphire ATI card is cheaper, get that. I've heard good things about the Sapphire ATI cards.

Re: which company produce better ati cards???

Since Ati produce the chip and also the card, of course it would be better to buy the "original" card from Ati, not third company with "powered by Ati" label.

I have a sapphire card. It runs great. I'd go for them they are cheap. My radeon 9500 I got for 141, but they are like 10 bucks less.

If this is about the current crop of ATi cards, the're are all a reference design of ATi. Not one of the 3rd party manufacturers designed any of the PCB. I guess it comes down to heatsinks and memory used.
I like my crucial 9700pro but thats because i got it dirt cheap ages ago

They designed it from the Ati reference board. Same happend with nVidia card, the third company bought the GPU and make the rest.
