I tried to buy an ATI 9500 Radeon video card from the store but they are phased out the card. But the store offering ATI Radeon 9600.
Is the ATI Radeon 9600 a good buy? If not, which video card should I get that is in the same price range as an ATI Radeon 9600? |

Re: Is ATI Radeon 9600 a good buy?
Geforce 5600 Ultra is better IMO. You're gonna have to make a decision.
Do you want a faster card, With less Quality AA, Better Anistropic Filtering combinations And a week Pixel shader 2.0 if the card does not properly optimise for for its pixel shader registry? (Fx 5600 Ultra) Or do you want a slower card, with better Anti aliasing, Inferior Anistropic Filtering. And a very powerful static pixel shader 2.0 ?(9600 pro) Or would you rather have a powerful 8 pipeline card, With Powerful AA, Inferior AF, Powerful Pixel Shader. An additional 2 vertex Shaders (9500 Pro) Personally the last choice is the best. If not I'd get a 5600 Ultra |

The 9600 pro is a great buy. You can saftely overclock it (softmod)
And get speeds above the 9500 pro and close to the 9700!!!Check it out: http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NDY0LDQ=

I find that the ASUS V9280 Geforce Ti4200-8X is the same price as the ATI Radeon 9600.
Which card is better? Geforce Ti4200-8X or Radeon 9600? BTW ChrisRay, Geforce 5600 Ultra is very expensive. |
