Video Card Drivers
The below is an attempt to gather the "best" drivers for the different boards. I'm doing this because I'm tired of my GeForce 4 crashing on common games and my desktop on the "stable" drivers.
I figure I've seen enough individual polls around that someone should attempt to create a catch-all spot. Post your favorite driver for your card and I will sum them up in the list below. If I'm missing a card, let me know and I will add it. The list will always be this first post. Just so you know, I'm using the GeForce 4 MX 440.

Re: Video Card Drivers
FOr some reason the 42.01's give be the best speed, but since they are beta they crash a lot. 43.51's are pretty good. I would have to say that the 44.03's are the best for my card(in sig). I's going to try out omega's now, because the 45.23's suck with PlanetSide. I play that game a lot now.

Re: Video Card Drivers
GF4Ti4200 using 44.03.
Also I dunno what you're on about with drivers crashing. I've never had any nVidia driver set crash anything apart from Pete's recent OGL2 plugin. Are you the sort who tweaks everything and then blames the consequent instability on the drivers? |

Re: Video Card Drivers
KillerShots, maybe your crashing issues may be due unclean driver upgrades, I'd like to suggest you, use detonator 3x.xx to 4x.xx fix that works like detonator destroyer, wiping out driver files that the common uninstall doesn't.
I've got a GeForce 4 Ti 4600, my favorite set is 43.45 although I'm using the 44.71 right now. When I used my TNT2 M64 the fastest drivers available are the 7.58 WHQL ones. The best drivers for GeForces 2 are the 30.82. |

BTW, I think you have that set up wrong. I think the geForce 3's should be with the geForce 4 Ti's. I know that in my case at least, anything below 40.xx is not as good for me.

Re: Video Card Drivers
for me, the best detonator driver that i had for my ti4200 was 43.45 WHQL, the IQ was just great and the speeds were the the same with the 44.03.
the 44.03 is prolly the worst of the Detonator 4x.xx
