Re: radeon 9100 pci or geforce 5200 pci
if i o/c the card what the highest i can overclock it w/o changing the cooling fan or adding heatsinks and having no anomoly ,distortion, crashes or problem.
all the computer store that are near me that i have check dont supply video card accessories so no new fan i havent check one store yet but i think they only have nvidia heatshink will those be compatible with the 9100 |

Means it can double its texel fill rate without requiring additional pipelines. Radeon 9000 cards have half the texel fill rate |

Radeon 9000 1 gigapixels/s (250 core x 4 pipes) 1 gigatexels/s (250 core x 4 pipes x 1 TMU) Radeon 9100/8500 1.1 gigapixels/s (275 core x 4 pipes) 2.2 gigatexels/s (275 core x 4 pipes x 2 TMUs) A pixel is a single dot on your monitor. A texel is a textured pixel, a pixel that has gone through the rendering process. Having 2 texture mapping units (TMUs) allows you to apply two textures on a single pixel in a single pass, thereby doubling its potential fill rate, but only for multitexturing games (pretty much all modern games use multitexturing).
