PC Equipment on a Laptop?
Heya
I just got a zip drive from a friend of my parents, and I wanted to ask a question about the difference between PC and Laptop parts, I was wondering, if I kept my laptop plugged in and attached the PC Zip Drive to the laptop, would it work, or be just a failure? Also I was wondering could I use a CD-Rom Drive from a laptop on a PC.

You could use the CDROM drive if it used a scuzzy interface but you cannot use internal desktop drives in a laptop.

Any external drive will work if you have the appropriate ports (Firewire/USB/USB2)
