Very Anoying Problem Please hELP!

i have a problem somtimes where my pointer stop moving but my mouse in doing stuff in the backround i can stick click on stuff but without seeing what im doing the pointer just strands there so i have to restart my computer this can be very anoying if im trying to download something and i cant restart, i have a microsoft Optical mouse with intelpoint driver can anyone help!!!

Try to uninstall the intelpoint driver to see if it's a mouse driver problem.

Or try this:

1. Go to control panel.
2. Click Display
3. Click the Settings tab.
4. Click the advance button
5. Go to the Troubleshoot tab
6. Slide the hardware acceleration one notch beside full.
7. Click apply.

i had the wrong mouse selected in the mouse options if the problem persis i will post another thread but cheers for your help
