tv out will not let you watch tv on the pc .

you would need a card with tv in or a tv tuner card .

yea...normally on the back of a tv (enless its old) theres a red, white, and yellow set of wire hole thingsies...you want to put it under tv-in on yellow...if you don't have one of those yellow ports i dont think it will work...because you ahve to be able to change input mdes on your remote

ya, as zerocopy said, its an S-Video

lil info: theres S-Video (4 small metal pins and 1 black peg thing, kkinda looksl ike ps2; your modern mouse/keyboard

and theres R-Video, yoru cohax cable like your antenna, or between yoru VCR and TV

and finally theres the consoles and steroes RCA. RCA looks a bit like the nameless computer thing, only its a bit fatter, has red/white/yellow plugs

my GeForce4 MX440se w/TV-out is S-Video, THE ONE THING I HAVE NO PLUG IN FOR!!!!!!! ...i hate commies...i wish it was rca but what the hell...thanks for the posts guys

well if you look around, you can probably find s-video->rca converter jacks for cheap. try www.newegg.com but i'm not sure if they are on there.
