if there's one thing i have to say, that would be GET MORE RAM!!!! and maybe later on you could upgrade the video card, but other than that, it looks good (its better than mine ). if you get more memory, it will speed it up a lot.

Most likley you have the Willamette version of the Pentium 4. Therefore your computer would probably support RDRAM and my guess is that you use the Intel 850 chipset with 400 Mhz FSB. Also I would venture to guess that you have a mPGA-423 processor package (becuase 1.8 Ghz), thus no further CPU upgrades are possible with this mobo.

Even 256 MB is low for computers nowadays. He should be shooting for 512 MB.

You can never have too much RAM. I just got an additional 256MB which makes 768 now

Yes, not every one, but intel started implamenting the 478 package with the 1.9 Ghz and up processors, for *most* people. So I doubt he uses the 478 package, then again I can't be sure.

My suggestion would be get more ram, so its at least at 256. Also updating your video card would help alot.

Never judge a PC by what is in it...rather judge a PC by what else you can put in it..

expandability makes a PC da bomb...
