Question How do I play Playstation 2 games on my computer monitor!?

Hey guys. I heard and saw at some places you can plug your Paystation 2 into your monitor. I heard its for sharper quality etc for playing your games. I need to know what cords/connections/programs ill need and things like that.

I have a TV/OUT on my Video card. In case you need to know that. Thanks

either a vga box or a tv-in/tuner.The tv-out is for use on external display devices tv/hdtv/flat screen, in short a tv-out wont let you display ps2 games on a monitor your gonna need a tv-in for that

I saw in advertisement, using "tv box" can allow you to play your favourite PS2 games in monitor screen, prolink pixelview is one of the producers of tv box.

Yeah, or a TV card, or a Line Doubler. The first is the best option.
The PS2 VGA box takes the S-Video signal, and is very crisp, but not quite as good as the DC's native one.

Why bother?
The games on the PS2 look better on TV anyway

As I said before. Buy a dreamcast VGA adaptor. They are still readily avaliable everywhere here.

well i think... every 17" and above monitor got serial connector on the back side... (it's usually serial w/ RGB)

well i haven't tried it since i don't own my PSX/PS2
but i think it works fine...

well the problem is... no matter what the screen refresr rate is still @60Hz
since monitor got no auto MAX refresh rate

well CMIIW

To be honest I really don't think that an issue as you don't really notice refresh rate in games. I do on the desktop but I tend to run all my games in 60Hz (50Hz on my PS2)
