My bios keeps getting cleared after the computer is turned off. Ive tried replacing the battery, but it doesnt hold a charge long. I could put one in, and when i move my computer, ( to get online or network for games and stuff, the computers arent side by side) it could be dead asking for settings again. My motherboard is an ECS K7S5A. Anyone else have this problem?

Ok, i finally looked today and i guess the jumpers are set right. It wouldnt boot up if i had the jumper set the other way. I have replaced the battery and it still doesnt hold a charge for long. I think it might be the motherboard possibly?

maybe there is some kind of short in the mboard that is causing the battery to drain quickly. maybe you could get your mboard tested by the manufacturer.
