Need help instaling the PCMCIA Slots on Windows XP

I'm having some trouble trying to get the PCMCIA cards to work on my dad's laptop. It's under windows XP. I can get it to work on another laptop witch is running windows 95, I had to had some commands to the config.sys file. However that doesn't exist on WinXP

Any one knows how to get this thing workin?

AFAIK, mostly everything in winXP is automated. thats what makes it so plug-and-play. So, abt the pcmcia, after pluggin it in, xp should auto detect it. however, maybe ur pcmcia's card is to old...check out new drivers

yeah, it maybe to old. If I plugin the card the windows makes that "New Hardware" sound but the Drives dont appear in the explorer, and i simply dont know how to find new drivers for XP
