Question Quick ?

Just a quick question here. The other night I was playing Gauntlet Legends and it look like my Hard Drive was being accessed as much as the CD Drive was. It was almost like stuff was being swapped off and on of the Hard Drive. I don't recall this happening before and it seemed awful odd, but it didn't affect performance any. Any idea why this might be happening. This occured before I got my new CPU and faster memory. Again, any ideas, possibly, about why this happened? Thanks.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Usually this activity occurs during gameplay, when ur ram is full and CPU is making some virtual mem on ur HD. I wonder how can this happen when you have so much ram.
I was having same experience, but after I installed my other 256 chip, this doesn't happen anymore.

it may be some win NT stuff, as NT keeps a lot of backups, and directory structure information on C:\ (C:\System Volume Information\ for example). it might be that, or i'm just saying BS. -_-
