FSAA on Radeons?
I found this tool called radeonator. Im just wondering if indeed my radeon can do fsaa? Is this even fsaa? (see screenie). Also what speeds should I set my card at? I know to increase it bit by bit but how fast should I increase it. Every five mins?

Radeon 9000's can ideed do FSAA. They use the same super sampling method that 8500's use

Yeah, but super sampling AA causes quite a performance hit.

Strange, Smoothvision is anti aliasing. But it's only truly taken advantage of if someone codes for it.
If stuff is becoming transparent then it seems like a driver issue. Because I never experienced that kind of thing. In Regards to my Radeon 8500 I try and keep 4x enabled on it. But generally. I can't do more than 2x. Performance hit is nasty. I would stick to 2x if I were you. |

Alright, I got gta3 working. I found it was my amd drivers that were f'in it up b4 on my old xp install. I will put it on 4 and see what its like. Will I get any more fps if I push my card clock any higher, no higher then 275?

Yes, smoothvision is ATI's FSAA and I don't recommend using it, as it kills fps like no other
. It could be useful for older games (for psx emulation it could be acceptable) but not for newer ones. I just use 16x AF and leave it at that.
