It depends on what operating system you are using, I don't think that any support rumble under Windows XP. Even though I think Player-X made a registry hack for one of them.

Ok, some PSXtoUSBs support rumble on XP, like Kiki's Joy w/ the latest driver, like the Rockfire w/ the Player-X's hack like the Super Joy Box 4 (but on ePSXe only for the first player, ehi, but ePSXe has only one player analog&rumble support ). And the PSXtoPC via LPT (printer port) always supports the rumble, even on XP. So, I think u can choose from different ones

IMO, I've the Super Joybox 4 (link in my signature) and it works very well, u've 2 PSX pads connect at the same time and they work well (I tried it w/ Konami soccer series, u know, like Winning Eleven or ISS). And for US$15 u've 2 PSX pads on 1 USB port! For PC games, I tried it w/ NBA Live 2003 demo and also the analog knobs work very well.

For other info, make a search in the forum and take various opinions. Good luck!

Thx, bye

Unhappy

Gismo, unfortunately the newest KIKI-X driver does not seem to work properly w/rumble in ePSXe when you install the ASPI layer.
I had the rumble working fine w/ePSXe until I installed the ASPI layer which is necessary for GENS to recognize my drives (so I can play Sonic CD and VAY). Once I installed the ASPI layer, then ePSXe would stop responding soon after I started playing. I had to ctrl-alt-delete and end task to get out of it. It kept happening so I turned rumble off in the properties section under gaming devices and now everything is fine. The driver works, the rumble doesn't and I'm not going to uninstall the ASPI layer just to get the rumble working again. To me, it isn't worth it.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

sorry, probably I can't try the Super Joybox 4 w/ PJ64, because I don't have any N64 games. "Probably", because I'm going to ask my friends for at least one game for N64 w/ rumble support. But I'm not sure they have one

to sxamiga:
I'm sorry to know u can't use anymore the rumble on ePSXe. Just a question: which ASPI have u installed? I mean, the Adaptec's one or the Force ASPI? Because I never had problems w/ the Adaptec's one w/ ePSXe, again, sorry

Thx, bye

Gismo, thanks for the advice. The ASPI layer is the Adaptec one AFAIK. But it doesn't intefer with ePSXe, it acts up w/the KIKI-X beta drivers, or should I say it the KIKI-X drivers act up w/it. Oh well, as I said, rumble is not that important, but it wouldbe nice if possible. Does anyone know where I might find Force ASPI? (I could try using that and then see how the KIKI-X drivers perform w/ePSXe).
sincerely,
sx/amiga
