You don't need to flash it as the ones that can be downloaded on the net are hopelessly outdated. Your current one could even be newer than the one you'e flashing to.

You don't really need to flash your videocard and I wouldn't recommend it.

If it stops working then it's time to buy a new videocard. You can only flash a device when it's working properly. Flashing a faulty/dying videocard won't help much.

I doin't see much point in flashing a video card, Unless your specifically looking for Quadro features or want default OCing. But that stuff can still be enabled without flashing if you just tweak your drivers...

Why? CoolBits works great. I don't see any disadvantages unless you are using an OS that doesnt have Nvidia drivers. If you did that I don't know why you'd need to OC.

mine also can't flash, i downloaded a bios for Geforce4 MX440 but when I flash it, it says my card doesn't support/match with the BIOS, I have no idea why it does not match, I the site says it's for Geforce4 MX440, can't be wrong anymore, maybe that site put a wrong BIOS.

Well, since most people don't really need to flash their video card bios (as it would be pointless to most people), there isn't flashing the video card bios isn't a familiarity with most people. you're better off looking for information by searching video card hardware sites.

I wouldn't recommend that. Flashing by the BIOS would result in permanent changes. It won't be easy to downclock it again if there are problems. I would recommend you stick with software overclocking. Better safe than sorry.
