i'd have to say go with a soundblaster live card even if its the value 1 its still a good card. But if u have the money i'd splurge and go with the Creative labs SBLive XGamer 5.1, thats what i got and it ownz

I hate to say me too, but I also think the best bet is any product in the SB Live audio cards from Creative. Any card sounds great in almost every case (even the old SB Live Value sounds awesome). Values can be bought - if you can find them - online for pretty cheap now.

hmmm... interesting card mathew2.
i wonder if it is a match for my pinegroup pt2629 card with yamaha onboard xg midi (lousy CODEC and DOS sound) that i bought last year though? Last edited by hankhoser; May 7th, 2001 at 13:36. |
