Pentium 14 out now!!!

Well not exactly out its what the hardware developers call politely prototype. If u ask me its just a lame excuse not to realease there most super cpu's pc's and video cards. They are way ahead than what we know. Currently I'm trying to find someone in the inside to get more details on whats going on inside pentiums underground warehouse though its no luck so far

If they had something that advanced and secret, why would they need to name it(and whats more pentium) anyway. There is also no need to hide it. me thinks where ever you heard that from is BS.

I heard a while ago that an american university asked Intel for a fast computer so they can use it in showing off some kind of expriment. The computer Intel sent by mistake ran at speeds higher than 4 GHz.......Ofcourse this is just a rumor

Hehe, Intel has a whole lot of surprises brewing in the Intel labs. What they show to the public is nowhere near their full capabilities. They have a lot of money and can afford a lot of technologies.

But very few of these technologies can be mass produced without yields being so bad that 1 costs $20,000... and thus we don't see it until they're ready... and until the competition demands it.

The main reason why they havent realeased these new band of cpu's is well two reasons

1. Not cost effective (imagine a celeron cpu running at 30 ghz for under $500)

2. These cpu's arent really compatibale with modern day technology which is available to the pubic to realease these cpu's they will need to also let out a hole heap of other gadgets to get them to work!

I dont think it would need a name (and if a name the it should be more creative...you know.. a new series of processors) but I would believe it would need a lot better mobo to support it... probably different socket type... or doesnt support ATX... all that grand confusing stuff

Well these new breed of cpu's r still in the beggining stages there still being tested for probs compatibility etc etc. The people who test these things and run them make something like $2000 a week! So i guess they leave it up to the marketing wing for the names and stuff
