fdd prob

how do i copy a file which is more than 1.44 mb into a floppy, whenever i try to do so i get an message which says "the file being copied is too large for the destination drive, if possible insert a highet capacity disk."

You can try compressing and spanning the file.

try to zip it, if it didnt work, use that nice option in windows which is called backup to split the programs in 2 or more floppy disks
start>programs>accessories>system tools>backup

if you dont have it, insert the windows cd and install it from there
(note i think there are similar utilty programs available on the net, you should go and check 'em out)

(note 2: this process will take time! )

i want to copy a 4mb file to 4 floppies. how do i do this coz whenever i insert the first floppy and try to copy it i get this ****ty message.

Winrar has a file splitting option that will split a large file into afew floppy disc size.
