What is my 16x on my DVD drive equivalent to in CD speed (e.g. 52x...)?? Or is it different for every model?:confused:

You can work it out if you know the data transfer rate required for 1x DVD and 1xCD

well on my asus 16x dvd drive
it says Data Transfer= DVD: 21640KB/s vs. CD: 7200KB/s Access Time= DVD: 105ms / CD: 85 ms
