I say go for GF4 MX if you're out of bucks, and a TI if you can afford it. And BTW, me myself wouldnt recommend ATIs.

I now have A GF4MX440(Would've gotten the GF4Tl4600 if it wern't 4 times more expensive) and sold the previous card,a GF2MX"Some number behind it" to a guy who overclock things to destruction just for fun,He overclocked it from 270MHZ to 400MHZ

I agree with vivrant, the MX and it's lack of DX8 is a big drawback. I say go with the Radeon 9000 or a even a GF3 as they are faster than the MX and have DX8. I'd probably go with the 9000 though if I were the one making the purchase.

Get a GeForce 4 Ti 4200, a little bit more expensive than the GF 3 Ti 200, but much more powerful!

erm, vivrant, i bet you misunderstood. It supports directx8 just perfectly, it just lacks pixel/vertex shaders, something that doesn't really matter to me.
ebola: glad to hear someone here agrees with me also

You can pick up a good geforce ti 200 for around 100 bucks. Also the Radeon 9000 and 8500 are other good 100 dollar cards. Which ever one you find the cheapest, go for it. If you have an extra 50 go for the geforce 4 ti 4200. Don't ever buy value models of products. When you buy a card make sure you're getting rendering pipelines, it will be the most important feature to have in the oncoming year.
