The Radeon 9000 will kick if memory serves. The GeForce 3 ti200 is the lowest end DX 8 part IIRC. However, I don't trust ATi after problems in the past. Oh, and don't get the 8500 whatever you do.

I've heard more than a fair share of horror stories about it. When compared the the problems I've heard from GeForce owners?

I had an 8500 and I didn't have any more problems with it than I had with any of my nVidia cards. As for choosing between the Ti200 and 9000. At stock speeds the 9000 or 8500 will be faster. The Ti200 is usually a pretty good overclocker, but there are no guarantees in overclocking, and without overclocking it is significantly slower than the 9000 or 8500.

I must admit I also heard several "horror" stories, but most were releated to drivers issues, and those improved tremendously in recent days. I bought mine about a month ago and it's been working flawlessly (using Catalyst 2.2 drivers).

I think most of you know I own a Radeon64, however yesterday I bought a MSI G4ti4200.
I know everyone says ATI drivers aint that good and you will experiance glitches in some games but I havent found 1 game with glitches since I bought the R64 over a year ago.
I removed my R64 and put in the MSI G4, I played GTA3 and haha all the text and 2d (like the map) is just square bits of colour, other games like winkawaks/UT I get weird flashes as well.
I have a few more problems as well but I wont slate the card till I've done a clean install, but I have to say nvidia drivers seem to have as many/more problems than Ati.

I don't have Morrowind, but I'm pretty sure they'll work.

Heh heh. Esturk got a AGP Geforce 256 for free yesterday. The guy at the flea market said it didn't work, but all that was wrong with it was overheating. So I'm going to stick a Pentium fan and heatsink on it. How does the 256 compare to my Voodoo 3 PCI?
