gamepad pro usb with gran turismo 2

is the d pad as easy to control as the playstation controller? im refering to this controller

Avoid that pad like the plaque. Better to use a real psx pad with a psx-pc adapter.

why's that? i have a eliminator game pad pro, it works great but it has the 360 degree d-pad, i just need 1 that goes left right down and up, i can't find any psx adapter around here(florida) and i don't want to order 1 off the internet

That particular one is reealy cheap. It works..i'll give it that..put it feels like something from the dollar store. I like more sturdyness.
Mine is a microsoft sidewinders. Good quality and say what you will about microsoft but thier drivers, wheter its mouse or keyboard etc..are always usually good.
