Exclamation Connect my PSX to my TV or Monitor

I was wondering...

1) Is it possible to connect my PSX to my computer monitor? At a low cost?

2) If the above doesn't work for money, availability, or lack of video and quality reasons, is there a connecter that I can buy for a PS1 video and sound connection to an old TV? My TV doesn't have any places to plug the PSX into it. Is there an adapter like the one for an N64 and an old TV?

the RF? it's just a standard coaxial cable, like the one you hook your cable TV line up to, or your cable modem any TV made in the past 40 years has one. LOL i love your sig guardianali! HAAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAH

You see, I just bought a playstation from a friend - without a manual. I never use my TV, so I never figured out what plugs into what. Can I do it with the standard cable that comes with the PS1?

If the VCR has the RCA jacks that are for Input, then it should work.

I did look. I was hoping for a person who used the products and could give me some feedback.

the psx does not utilize vga resolution like a dc does so a vga box will not help you much. if you have a vcr, use the rca jacks that came with your ps2. if you dont have a vcr that has the right connections and your tv doesnt, go ahead and get a rfu adapter.
