Exclamation Need Help!!!

Well my problem is about my PC... when you push the power button, the monitor is all black showing no kind of signs of start up like its on. When you press the keys like the scroll lock, caps lock, the lights don't blink... but the power is on, the CPU fan is rotating and the CD ROM has power. What is wrong???

Is my motherboard malfunction???
or is it juts the intenal video card???

NEED HELP BECAUSE MY THESIS IS STORED IN HD AND I CAN"T ACCESS IT!!!!

I'm no monitor expert, so i don't think I can help you much.

It's more than likely busted, since it's been established that your video card isn't the problem, as you've taken it to your friend's rig with the same result.

Ipagawa mo nalang yan.

the power supply is ok...you can hear the processor's fan running...

the monitor is well connected to the CPU... and if its busted you can still hear the start up music right, but I don't...

the keyboard lights of caps lock, num lock and scroll lock will be lit if you press them right, but it don't light up...

tried it many times and nothing happens????

whats wrong????

no I mean like if the monitor is busted...it's all blank right but you can hear the start up music from your speakers... so nothing happens even at full volume.

When you went to your friend's house to test the hard drive, did you leave your friend's hard drive in his computer? You should go back to his house and put your HD back in his comp and make it a slave drive in the motherboard BIOS, then try to boot it. Hope this helps.

When your computer is on you say that the LED's on the keyboard do not flash? Do you get any beeps? Make sure the internal speaker is hooked in to the motherboard.

Reset your CMOS. Just take out the battery and put it back in, that should do the trick.
