microsoft scandisk began scanning my C drive and it found 1 new broken file,it was the zelda savestate,oh well then when i wanted
to put in my password(for security, you never know)i had to wait
15 minites when i finaly did it it again it crashed ,i waited 30 min. but still nothing....resetet my pc,again ms scandisk, but this time it took about 10 min to scan 2 bloks!!!and it kept on giving dameged files...
I looked on the internet on my father his pc,and they said that it is
something you cant repair...now im waiting for my new harddisk
but....on that harddisk was everything i had.. roms , emus , docs , games , .....i mean everything....next time il make a backup first

That's strange I never seemed to have any problems with SupraHLE
I don't know what to say about this Carnage. But you can beter post this in the Hardware Discussion seeing it's more appropiate.

Yea, hilight all of your text, then press ctrl+c to copy it, go make a new thread in hardware discussion, then ctrl+v to paste your text. Or wait for a mod to move this.

And yea, that is weird. I wouldnt give up so fast. I would boot from the CD and try and do some repairs from that, or atleast try safe mode.

Yeah, the Maxtor's don't seem to last very long...just had one bite it hard myself...The day after the warranty expired. Needless to say, I'm not pleased with Maxtor (Diamond)

Well, it's an ATA100, so it's probably got at least two years on it... at which point 40 gigs will probably be really small anyways .

Yes, I can see it now! We will all have 20 terabyte hard drives with Ultra ATA 600 or some sort of SCSI interface, and we'll look down on our little "giga"byte hard drives like we do now on our "mega"byte hard drives . And little green men will land in my living room too!!
