Question where can find an up to date bios driver for my AMI agp v1.0 ,3 pci and 2 isa slots

atx and at mainboard.pentium2 266-500mhz mmx. 3dimms for sdram.?i can only get my verto geforce4 apg to run ,when i under clock my pentium2 to 266 mhz, than it works fine.but if i put it to the 350mhz which is the right mhz for the pentium2mmx it will not boot past the bios it just sits there... i think i have to upate the bios.but i don't know where to find 1 like it.i think it is a AMIBIOS VERSION 1.1X 1999.need some help .........

Well, we need more info about your motherboard. All you provided us is your current BIOS, but we need to know the motherboard's manufacturer and model. Check the manufacturer's website and look for the correct BIOS for your specific mobo there.

manufacturer is pc100.and the model close is one i can find on my cd is a M715V30.but my is kind of diff. from it.

I think you need a bit more than a BIOS update to update it to AGP 2.0. You might have to get a new motherboard altogether.

Not likely. There were numerous updates for my old 440BX mobo (AGP 1.0) but none of them could update the AGP. I had to get a new board for AGP 2.0 support. It's the same as USB 2.0 and ATA100/133. You can't get those features from a BIOS update, they're hard-coded into the chipset itself. BIOS updates are usually to extend the CPU support range and fix some minor bugs.
