If GeForces are so good...

Just wondering: every GeForce has a set of demos to show off their supposed 'power' or something like it, right? How long do you think we have to wait til we see games as good as the Creature demo for the GF2s or the Wolfman demo for the GF4s?

3-5 years beofre we see actual games that have those type of graphics. Doom 3 won't have high poly counts so it doesn't count

Bump mapping Vertex-shading tricks, but there will be a relatively high poly count in comparison to previos FPS engines.

The ears look more square (on fat zombies) than in SOF 2 and a lot of other games.

I had to get accustomed to it as well...In duke 3d I used only the keyboard

..and never used to play much fps games until Shogo. I really liked that one a lot. It was also my introduction to online gaming.

It's been out a good long time, anyways, yet people still play it. that is the definition of a good game.... or a well marketed game

Actually not much has changed in terms of 3d games other than more poly's. Not many games use Bump mapping.
