AMD overclocking

ive heard of overclocking but not CPU OC so plz can some body tell my how to over clock my Amd athlon 950mhz

p.s my cpu usally runs at 30-35 degrees celsius

That articals a bit out of date but might help u get an idea.
If u really want to overclock whats your motherboard,does it have fsb jumpers on the board or fsb/multiplier/voltage settings in the bios?
What type of athlon is it,an old slot or a socket one?

Well I gave up on that article before that bit as it seemed they were talking about the old kt133 chipset (ie only reaching about a 110fsb).
I thought it would be better for him to tell us this as we could then advise him as an article can only help him so far especialy one written over a year ago.

Overclocking hasn't changed much from a year ago.. It's still fsb\multiplier settings combined with voltage tweaks.. Of course different mother boards has different ways of doing it(some software, some hardware), but the idea is still the same.. He can also check his motherboard manufacturer for more info on how to change the fsb\multiplier\voltage settings on his particular mobo.. Also, articles on OC athlons aren't hard to find..
