Receiver issue - "power saving"-business
I'm having some issue with my Eltax AVR-900, an issue that's been here all along. Apparently there's some power saving feature, that cuts the power to the speakers if there's no sound being played. This is very annoying sometimes, especially when listening to language phrases at Livemocha, for example. Since there's a pause in between every phrase spoken at that site (to allow me to answer a question), the receiver cuts power to the speakers immediately after the phrase is spoken. And since my receiver is kinda slow, I miss out on half the next phrase. Question is: Do any of you know if I can turn this stuff off, or just delay it? Like set it to cut power after 30 (or even just 15) seconds after nothing is being transmitted from my computer?
