Yh-3018-3 smps for external hd

Hi guys,

Can anyone please tell me where I can view the circuit diagram of the YH-3018-3 SMPS?

I particularly want the values of R1 (0.22 Ohm or 0.33 Ohm) and also C4

Rgds

Er, what is it exactly? Does Yamaha make it?

If you're conducting a repair, just read off the resistor values (colors) and I can tell you the rating in ohms.

No it's made by: Shenzhen YongHao Power Co., Ltd

It is an external hard drive power unit (+12v 2amp and +5v 2amp)

I wouldn't be looking for the diagram if I could read the colours would I????

Er, so are you saying that the resistor isn't there at all or that you don't understand what the colors mean?

As a side note, the site doesn't reference to the exact model you've specified, but there is one similar: Link

The site contains no electrical diagrams however. There are a few representatives available for chat that may be able to email a diagram to you though.

Yes it does.......the -3 is the latest change issue.

Yes, of course there WAS a resistance there, it just completely blew up when the semi-conductor chopper shorted. I could have read the R value myself very easily if it hadn't ...but it did.
