Weird Installer ram usage

I have a weird problem on two of my computers. Running an installer for a game will cause the ram usage to shoot up to 99%. It does this on both Vista and 77, and ive had it for years and can never figure it out. The ram wont be restored until after i to a system restart. Anyone have any ideas?

It's only the one installer that does this?

no whenever i install a game. 40% of the time it doesnt though, but a game installer that does it, always does it.

game installers have to unpack ALOT of data, the decompression library might be massive.

Can't say I've had PowerISO fail like that when it was installed on my computer...

Good thing you figured it out at least.
