Wouldn't that be stretching it? Especially on a 45nm (or lower, I'm not sure) chip?

Why have it on 4 GHz anyway? To start off with, not many software is even gonna make use of the 4 chips, and unless he wants to break 100fps on GT4 with PCSX2, there won't be much of a performance boost from, say, 3.5GHz anyway.

But its going to change after sometime from elections .

My pc is right next to the air conditioner so it should get tons of cool air .

@ Squall - No full copper editions here, so Megahalem it is .

make sure the megahalem's bracket will fit, the GA-EX58 has some issues with some brackets.

I was looking at asus website and I found that i need to flash the motherboards BIOS to make it work with the 920 D0 stepping .

I'm can't find any good guides so can someone write me a short guide on how to flash the motherboards BIOS ?

As in the motherboards don't come with any BIOS?? Or is it just the old version? If that's the case, ASUS has a great tool called ASUS Update which should be included in the CD with your mobo. Just download the BIOS from their website and install it using the tool. The process is incredibly easy and quick! No guides needed!

its written that for 920 d0 stepping you need to upgrade your BIOS to a certain version .

It should still boot with the old version though (I think). Same thing happened when I brought this PC, when I started it up for the first time, it said that "the CPU's full power cannot be utilized. Please update your BIOS" or something like that, but XP still installed without a hitch and I updated it using ASUS Updater after installing it.

Still confirm the first bit of it starting up anyway though. You wouldn't want your shiny new chip toasted because of incorrect voltage allocation or something -_-

not even required :P
you can flash the bios from the HDD without even booting into windows :P

the 920 D0 will boot, it'll just be an unrecognised processor so besure to set the settings up properly, or use a minimal config until the updated bios is installed.

Download the bios and keep the unpacked contents on a usb flash stick, then just update the bios from the flash stick when you're setting up.
