Has my PC got enough juice to play Tekken 5 on PCSX2

Hi this my first post here. I think this the appropriate place for my query. I apologize if it's not. So let's come to the point. I want to play some PS2 games on my PC specially Tekken 4 and 5. Here are my PC's specs.

AMD Athlon X2 4200+ processor (AM2, Windsor)
HIS ATI Radeon X1650 Pro IceQ 512MB
Asus M2N-E Motherboard (Nforce 570 Ultra Chipset)
2X1GB DDR2 667Mhz Kingston ValueRAM
160GB+80GB SATAII H.D
Windows Vista Ultimate x64

Tekken 4 and 5 are some of the most intensive games to run using PCSX2. You might be able to run the Tekken Force aspect of the game with some decent speed, however the main game will probably struggle at around 20fps (at an estimate). To get the most out of Tekken 5 you need at least an E8400 which has been overclocked due to how intensive the CPU has to work to get the game to work.

Mmm... let's see... if I'm not seeing a 4GHz Core 2 Duo, or 3.6GHz Core 2 Quad, coupled with anything above a 7800GTX/X1800XT, then I know Tekken 5 is going to struggle at less than 30fps. Or if worse, it might be a slideshow.

An extreme overclock might help out.....a bit, but still may not make it good enough.

Thanks all of you for your feedback. I guess I have to wait for the Denebs to arrive. Until then ePSXe and tekken 2 and 3 will suffice.

OMG you want to run tekken5 with that config. If you are extremely patient then you can otherwise not.
my specs are somewhat similar to yours but still faster and I get 30fps at normal setting, 35 on frame skip and 40 at VU skip. But with that I can't even see half of the moves that I do in the game.
best is to use internal resolution =512x512
disable every thing else in GSdx
enable all the cpu options in the cpu config
use your ISO copy of the dvd.
but there is no difference in PAL or NTSC version
the game will be as slow on PAL as it is slow in NTSC.

wasn't the minimum requirements to get fullspeed in Tekken 5 a C2D @3.8ghz and a 8800GT?

with speedhacks maybe 3.6ghz or so ^^

Core2duo @ 4.1Ghz and a GTX260 here.
No way to run that game at more then 50fps, even less without hacks

Did I say I got full speed? not even close with all the techniques I could only go as far as maximum 82% full speed, average 80%

Yes, it does. Sadly... GT4 would run at twice the framerate that Tekken 5 would any day.
