3GHz is pretty much guaranteed.
What I'm interested in... is how possible 4GHz is... and how it compares to E8400 in PCSX2... oh well, I guess I'll get to know tomorrow.

make sure you run some Prime or Orthos on the chip
![]() don't just assume its stable because windows boots ![]() but like RAP said, 3ghz is pretty much garanteed. its pretty much garanteed with almost any core2duo chip actually ![]() unless you have the totally low-end ones.

Nah... I want to see how a retail chip does compared to that ES chip. Plus... 1.480v for vCore is insanely overkill. Something is just not right with those guys... (or the chip)
And anyway, my main goal is still to see how the chip performs in PCSX2 compared to its brethren.

Yours is $60 more expensive~!
![]() ![]() I think we have a winner. Edit: GPU limited, ladies and gentlemen. Therefore... I can't get anything higher than that. Now if someone would kindly lend me something good... muahahahaha!

I bet 4GHz would take 1.38 or 1.42v or something. Not really something I'd want because... I'm too lazy to tweak this now, and I'm already seeing full speed in FFX with an IGP.
Now we have a new winner for PCSX2 gaming! $135 is seriously a bargain!
