It's supposed to launch with a price tag of $133USD. But it always depends on the demands and retailers...so give or take $20-60 for most places. For more secluded and countries outside the US, add on another chunk.

Um... as high as heroin will take you? Of course, that also means... it'll die as fast as heroin will kill you.

It wouldn't take me a millisecond to say: no.

Ummm, it's situational, no?
The E7200 has the FSB advantage, but is clocked 60Hz slower (which isn't big, but could make the difference). The E4700 has the multiplier advantage though, it has 13 as opposed to 9.5. If you're talking about overclocking...it'll be luck of the draw IMO. Just wait out for some more reviews of both and see.

Actually, the E4700 is the one that benefits from high FSB, since it has an insane multiplier of 13. But woe be it... since a 65nm processor just runs extremely hot. Although you only need 308 FSB for 4GHz (about 1232MHz quad-pumped), it still suffers from something other 65nm processors do: heat, and voltage requirement.
Now... with the E7200, it'll be an easy 4GHz for voltage... maybe close to 1.45v or maybe less.

A lot of the 45nm have been burning out quite quickly from overclocks, no? 45nm is more sensitive to the voltage increases I thought.

And a lot of them have miraculously recovered, too. In the end, we have concluded that there is a period of burn-in for these processors. When they have burned in, voltage running through them will be rock stable. At least up until this point, safe vCore still hasn't killed any of them. High values for other voltages might, though.

Stable?
And I'm still skeptical, because evidently, the E7200 has more of a headroom than the E4700. Hazaro's nifty little E7200 (65nm Comparison + OC and pictures) - Overclockers Forums ^= There's some comparisons to E6600. Now you just need a E4700 to E6600 comparison to give a conclusion.
