Talking help on new pc configuration

I will buy a new pc and I'd guess some of you can help-me...

Some stuff I've already decide
You can help with these bellow...

First:
Q6600 or E8400 (I tend to choose E8400)

Second:
8800GT or 3870 or 9xxxGT ?
(thinking in power... to play games)

Third:
P5K-SE or IP35P

In terms of CPU, it depends if you're going to overclock or not. If you are, between those 2, get the E8400. Its a no contest really. But if you're going to leave everything at stock, or do light OCing only, it depends alot on how much multitasking you're going to be doing. Personally I'd go for the Q6600... but that's just me. I'm sure there are going to be many others who will disagree.

As for graphics card the 8800GT is the most powerful in terms of raw GPU power from the 3. But then the 9600GT overclocks great so can be brought up to near 8800GT standards at a cheaper price. (The most powerful single card out there right now would probably be the 9800GTX... so for a bit more cash that's always an option.)

Personally, I've always loved Abit and their boards, and the IP-35Pro is one of their better (if not the best) P35 motherboard. For me, the IP35 Pro. Definitely.

9800GTX so much cash!
how much near the 9600GT stays from 8800GT in terms of power?

XFX 9600 GT 512MB Review » Page 6 - Testing: Crysis - Overclockers Club

That review should give you a pretty clear indication between the 8800GT and 9600GT. Its not huge, (especially when overclocked) but its there. Also, don't forget, you can very well overclock the 8800GT too

PS The performance of both of them has improved a bit in Crysis with the newer driver releases.

If you're going with for a single graphics card setup, not particularly.

For motherboard I'd recomment P5K-E wifi/ap check out my sig and see why for dual gpu get P5K Deluxe. As for GPU, well how far can you go in term of cash? Now that the real question. Get 3870 or Nvidia equivalent if that's your budget.
