small pc prob

My pc seems to turn on(fan, LED, etc...) but, the mouse, keyboard, and monitor doesn't seem to post or work.

Does anyone know what might be causing this prob?

I am assuming it worked fine before?

Also seeing as your monitor does not work that would be your starting point as without it you can't see if the other devices work or not.
Eventhough you said everything boots up I am still thinking a Power Supply which might be going...or if you can find a different monitor and test it, or a different graphics card..(for instance going over to a friends house and having him help switch out parts with you in order to find the problem would probably be a good idea)...

does it give any beep codes? if so describe the beeping noise as detailed and accurately as possible.

It could possibly be your motherboard as well. The fans, drives(hdd, fdd & dvd) and LED are powered directly from the Power supply. But all the peripherals, videocard & cpu are powered through the motherboard. Open up the case and see if the cpu heats sink fan is spinning since its powered through the motherboard.

The fact that the peripherals went out at the same time as the video output and it doesn't even post means its 98.5% likely PSU, motherboard or memory problem.

The CPU fan turns on, this is quite odd since It's because I changed the case and now it's all screw up. I know about the beeps, sadly no beeps on the mobo. everything was working fine be4 I changed my case to the new 1. Only the LEDs and all the fans turn on, no post on the monitor, neither the KB or Mouse turns on.

I'll take everything out and test it outside the case just to make sure everything is correctly plugged.

Any more suggestion is greatly appreciated, I'll try testing with an old memory RAM I have laying around.

I can't test my comp somewhere else, because no1 has an up-to-date mobo around here. I still haven't figure out what the problem here is, can anyone give any suggestion regarding this.

I actually don't understand what's wrong, because everything was working correctly be4 I changed of pc case, and now everything is screw up. I'll keep tweaking and see if I can figure out what's wrong.

Make sure you plugged the front panel connectors (consisting of hdd led, power led, reset button, power button) the right way.

Make sure the positive end of the reset, power button, and LED wires are connected to the positive connector on the motherboard. Switching these around will cause the errors such as computer not booting.

The little triangle symbol on the wires means positive end.

No problem

I'm sure you know this but when you removed your mobo and computer internals and transpanted them in the new case did you make sure to discharge yourself?

Touch the case while it is plugged into the outlet, work in a non-carpeteted area, and preferable wear a antistatic wristband?

Minute static electric shocks are enough to kill mobos, even ones you don't feel or see.

Have you tried reseating all your data and power cables connected to the mobo? Make sure non of the pins are broken on anything.

Also try flashing your bios...

why dont you have that 2nd 12v cable connected? your motherboard takes both 4-pin 12v cables in that 8-pin socket behind your cpu, but you only have one in, might be worth plugging the other in too.

also your gfx card looks like it isnt in properly, in pic 2 it distinctly looks like its popped out at the front.
