Viewing satellite TV on 2 different TVs

Hi there, does anybody know if it is possible to view a satellite box, or whatever is on one TV on another TV in another room. This is because I plan on watching football in my room and in the living room at the same time.

Is there any wireless device which exists which can transmit what is displayed on the TV to another TV in a different room (about 8 metres away, literally next door)? This is because if I use a wired solution, the wires would have a winding route to travel.

Also does anyone know if there is some way to allow for the channels to be changed using the other TV in my bedroom without having to always go to the living room to change channels.

Any help on this would be great.

Many thanks

If you are using a Pay TV service, why not ring up your TV company to rent out a extra decoder? It shouldnt cost that much extra.

If your receiver is connect via audio/video cables just run coaxial to the other tv from the receiver if possible. You can also split the connection, do it between the receiver and tv and run it to the other one. They share the same channel, only was to view separate is another receiver i believe.

I don't really feel like ordering another box as I plan to watch what is in the living room most of the time (and I also don't wanna spend any money ).

I used to connect it up using coaxial, but I was wondering if there was any other way of doing this. I really wanted to do this wirelessly because the path to my room would involve some difficulty even though it is close (I have a lot of clutter in my living room).

Is there also a way which I would be able to have a unit which could allow me to use a remote control to change the channels on the box in the living room without me having to leave my bedroom?

Many thanks

You could try a remote control extender.
