Apple - MacBook Air

Not for everyone, yes, but it suits my needs perfectly. Seriously thinking of grabbing myself one before my next year in college.

Meh, USB flash drives is all I use nowadays. I have an USB dual layer DVD burner, so if I have to carry it one day, no biggie. All I do out of the house with my current laptop is surf the 'net, watch movies, listen to music and do schoolwork.

I did game a few months on the laptop, but I've realized how much I hate too. It's just...uncomfortable.

Not to mention that the chassis fan goes on overdrive and the sound it outputs just annoys the hell out of me when I did game with it.

XD I used to have an IBM laptop, T21 I think, and I did some PS1 emulations and played Midtown Madness 2 on it
It did get pretty loud sometimes, but it lasted me a good 6 years period XD due to HDD failure. Oh well, everyhting was still working, but it is too outdated and the warrenty expired =_=.
Anyhoo, Japan built FTW; the China built ones sucked @@". Mine happened to be the last ones to be manufactured in Japan and is partly Titanium built.
I think it cost me $1100 back then @@'

I wouldn't want a laptop that could give me a paper cut.

I'm only concerned about the resolution though. I'm quite spoiled after having 1680x1050 for the past couple years on both my desktop and laptop

One of the japanese zaibatsu came out with the worlds first super hd laptop. it has a 3840x2400 resolution but can obviously also scales perfectly to 1920x1200 as a signle pixel would just become a square of 4 instead.

It was on dailytech.com a few months ago. Awesome stuff. Buy that one.
