Weird Display Problem!

when i boot up my pc i saw weird font on my screen eg windows become winf0ws and so on..so what the hell is happening to my pc? does my gfx card fried/damage?

My hunch is damage. If the broken text appears when when NOT in Windows. Probably it's hardware related. If it's only broken inside Windows. Then there's a small chance it's driver related.

Sounds like something is messing with your computer. If it happens even in DOS, it'd be apparent that your CPU has gone loco.

ok this is the image taken while booting my pc..actually it couldn't boot to windows..it's just stuck there!

so what might this be..i'm so confuse to think that my windows has problem or my gfx card burn or my motherboard burn??? argghhhh!

any clue??

Broken video card IMO. I had a similar thing happen to my 6600GT. Swapped it out with my x700 and it was gone.

First pic definately looks like a broken vid card...similar things happened when some ****ty onboard card whent on my old P3.

2nd Pic looks more like a virus though with random letters like that all over the place...a vid card only renders stuff....I can't send characters to the screen it's not receiving...

unplug all the drives in your computer, and then turn it on.
if you still get the problem, most-likely your video card has fried or something.
maybe you tried to flash the bios and it got corrupt?
