Anyway, just to clarify to Cid, the Tomshardware video was a Pentium 4 and an Athlon Thunderbird. Anyway, the Duron and Thunderbird were the last processors by AMD not to have such temperature throttling. Athlon XP onwards also did those things.

Had my friends E6600 hit 100C a few times when we were building his new computer. We didn't even realize one of he pins of the heatsink snapped after we closed the case, kept wondering why Windows crashed on us. Found out after putting my finger near the base of the heatsink.../sucks nimble finger.
