Making sure you set the ingame option for the gathering hall to Manual (so you can select Gathering Hall 01) rather than Auto, found that helps address alot of missing people issues.

Just started putting videos on Stage6. So for those of you wanting to see some MHF2 action with alot more quality than YouTube, I've got 3 videos up sofar!

Put up some multiplayer action, myself and two friends taking on a Gypceros and Khezu, and my original Me Vs Monoblos video, in fullscreen-watchable quality!

Those of you who play "ALOT" of Monster Hunter Freedom 2, and want to continue playing with all the recent additions that Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G brings - you might be interested in reading this.

This guide tells you how to convert from Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (EU/US) to its Japanese equivilent Monster Hunter Portable 2nd (JP). Once your save has been converted to the Japanese version, it can be imported into Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G ..giving way to even more areas, monsters, armors, quests, weapons and crazyness!

MHP2ndG hasn't got an English translation yet, but one is underway...so maybe worth waiting until the translation, unless you can read Japanese

I read that some where already. Too bad English version N/A yet.

Basicly,
Quote:
What you need:
- Laboko
- YOUR MHF2(EUR or US) save file
- ANY JAP MHP2 save file (I attached one from Gamefaqs)
- Before doing anything backup your saves! I shall not be responsible if you lose anything!

Steps:
- Extract Laboko into ms:\PSP\GAME directory
- Extract ULJM05156.rar to ms:\PSP\SAVEDATA (not required if you already have a JAP MHP2 save file
- Run Laboko for the first time and quit
- Extract ULUS10266.lbc(US) or ULES00851.lbc(EUR) to ms:\Laboko\code depending on which MHF version you've got
- Run Laboko again
- select Option 2 > Choose the US/EUR game save > select Option 4 > OK!
- Connect USB using Option 3
- rename ULUS10266.bin or ULES00851.bin to ULJM05156.bin in ms:\ root directory
- select Option 2 > Choose the JPN game save > select Option 5 > OK!
- Now you have a fully functional MHP2 Jap game save ready to carry over to MHP2G!
- Start MHP2G > select New Game > select Option 2 > All set & Done

There's probably not going to be a G version for the EU/US markets...hence the translations etc that are coming out. Capcom has the stance that the game isn't popular enough in the UK/US to make it worthwhile.

Next game we get is Monster Hunter 3 (tri) for Wii.

That's suck G version had online mode AFAIK. That's what I'm aiming for, playing with others online. Anyone know any translation project for G version yet? I don't heard anything yet.
